Dapto Messy Church returns on Sunday 20th March!

The fun kicks off at 4:30pm at Dapto Uniting Church hall. Join us for a fun filled afternoon of Easter crafts, songs, games, face painting, plaster fun painting, egg decorating and an Easter egg hunt!

We will finish with a shared pizza dinner with hot cross buns, fairy bread and fruit platters for dessert.

 PLEASE NOTE: All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.
  
ALLERGIES: Please advise prior to the event if a member of your family has any allergies or special dietary requirements.

COST: This is a FREE event (a $10 donation per family is encouraged to help cover costs of food and craft materials)

2013 Messy Easter Picnic!

Celebrate Easter 2013 with Dapto Messy Church!

Sunday 24th March, 2pm @ Integral Energy Park (Kembla Grange)

A fun-filled picnic for all ages: Easter egg hunt, parachute fun, face painting, bubbles, games, playground and more!

WHAT TO BRING: something yummy to share for arvo tea, rugs/chairs to sit on

VIDEO RECAP: Messy Church Easter

Dapto Messy Church was held on Sunday 1st April 2012 at Dapto Uniting. 

About 100 kids and adults enjoyed the variety of Easter themed activities on offer. These included: chicken marshmallow pops, egg dyeing, egg collages, shaving cream marbling, choco nests, Easter cup decorating, biscuit decorating, chocolate moulds, playdough, Easter bracelets, pop-up Easter cards, wooden Easter plaques, Easter gardens AND chalk drawing! Phew - what a lot of fun!!

We then moved into the church to listen to the Easter story and learn about how Jesus died for us on the cross. After singing and dancing to a couple of songs, we headed back to the hall for a delicious pasta bolognese, garlic bread and salad dinner. We ate hot cross buns for dessert!

We finished the evening with an INDOOR Easter Egg hunt due to the persistent rain!

The next Messy Church event will be held on 

Sunday 17th June 2012 from 4:30pm. 

Our theme will be "In The Light".

Messy Church @ Dapto Uniting wishes everyone a safe and happy Easter! We hope that your family will not just eat loads of chocolate together, but will also spend some time remembering what we celebrate at Easter: the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
